May ’03… The Clip Clop Club have played most Saturday arvos at The George Public Bar, Fitzroy St, St Kilda since 1998 ( 5th Great Year! Same Great Songs!"). We met 82yo Joy at the bus stop over the road. She was waiting for a bus, we were getting some "fresh air". She had almost 2 hours to wait for her bus so we invited her to join us for a beer. 6 hours later Joy was still having a beer, she’d missed 3 buses and the bar had done a whip round and collected $58 to pay for her taxi home! Missing from photo- Chris Harrington. He was talking to girls.
